Felt Wrapped Soaps

These richly colored felt wrapped soaps are 100 percent wool, hypoallergenic, and simply great at the sink or in the shower. Gardeners and crafters love these soaps. They are nice at the kitchen sink, too, because the felt wrap keeps the suds contained so the soap dish stays neat and clean.

Note:  Felted soap takes a little longer than ordinary soap to move through the woolen fabric, but the felt absorbs leftover suds so it stays neat and clean. The wool wrap continues to shrink around the soap as the bar is used. When the soap is gone, there will be a felt pouch left over. Cut it open to make a sachet or jewelry pouch.
